C2S Invites You to a Screening of “Life, Animated”
June 11, 2018
My name is Paul C. Switzer, I am a member of the Courage to Succeed program, which is a part of UMFS.
I am promoting a public screening of a wonderful documentary called “Life, Animated” which is showing on June 26th 2018 from 6 to 8 PM at the Charterhouse School Auditorium, located at 3900 W. Broad Street, Richmond VA.
The screening is free and open to the public. C2S is screening “Life, Animated” to spread awareness about Autism Spectrum Disorder. The movie shows the struggles autism has on both the parents and their children and how devastating the diagnoses can be for a family.
“Life, Animated” demonstrates that you can indeed communicate with autistic children, you just have to find a way to reach them on their level. It also shows how creative people with Autism can be, despite their general inability to speak, and that they are generally experts on the things that piques their interest.
